Abu Galum, Canyon & ‘Blue hole’ Jeep Safari

Tour Everyday From Sharm el Sheikh

Private Tour – (Minimum 8 people)

Abu Galum is one of the picturesque nature reserves in the country. With its high mountains, narrow sinuous valleys -wadi’s, freshwater springs, coastal sand dunes, gravel alluvial fans, raised fossil coral reefs & low lying saline sabkha, it is not surprising that this small area of the Sinai peninsula houses 165 plant species.

The managed resource protected area at Abu Galum, covering an area of 400 km square, protects varied coastal & mountain ecosystems unique on the Gulf of Aqaba. The area differs dramatically from the other reserves on the Gulf. The coastal area contains undisturbed coral reefs with high diversities of coral reef, fish & associated fauna & flora.

Jeep Safari into the Sinai desert, through Wadi’s into the White Canyon, where we will walk through this spectacular landscape. Multi-coloured rock formations marvel at the beauty of the Abu Galum Protectorate Area in the Sinai desert. Afterwards for around one hour we will ride camel along the shoreline of the Gulf of Aqaba till the Blue hole. During your ride the beauty of the nature & clear waters of the Red sea will astonish you. During your trip snorkel at the famous ‘Blue hole’. There you will enjoy not only with the different colours of the fishes & corals but also with the different colours of the water itself. Lunch will be in Dahab & time for shopping for local handicrafts. It is necessary to have a passport, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, mask, fins, snorkel and comfortable shoes.
